Moving On challenges our community to reinterpret and reinvent itself, to move on to better things, to examine our strengths and idiosyncrasies.

Dev loves the arts because they enhance our lives many fold. For the artist to produce works of beauty and meaning, for a visitor stimulating the senses. Dev's curatorial experience and creative mind will ensure MAT18 will be a sensory feast celebrating community and “Moving On” to a culturally enriched Murwillumbah.

MAT18 Business Manager: Natascha Wernick

Mob: 0412980063  Email: natascha@themurwillumbaharttrail.com

Natascha, with Annie Long (founder of The Murwillumbah Art Trail)  grew the MAT17 from 2016's  $6,000 event to a $60,000 event.  Despite opening six weeks after the worst flood in Murwillumbah’s living history, it was hugely successful. The linchpin of the outfit, she's the one who keeps the team on track to an arts event that we all hope will re-shape how a great community engages with great art. Her organisational knowledge is the backbone of MAT18.

Suzi said she’d like to help at MAT18, missed the planning meeting. Fizz! Pop! She’s now Sponsorship Manager. When not on the phone talking to sponsors she can be found at her easel painting landscapes or walking her two schnauzers, Bogart and Baci (Bacall is in heaven) on the beach at Caba. If your business wants to give MAT18 a hand and isn't sure how, chat to Suzi.

MAT18 Funds Manager: David Dempsey

Mob: 0419221029 Email: davidandsonya68@gmail.com

David exhibited at MAT17. His interest in becoming part of the MAT18 team led to his position of funds manager.  David is a career firefighter on the Gold Coast and a Duty Officer for Surf Life Saving New South Wales on the Far North Coast. When he's not rescuing people he's saving our scarce funds. We're in good hands.
